* A .577/.450 SWINBURN HENRY MODEL 1875 CARBINE, serial number 1107, circa late 1870s, with 22 1/2 in. sighted barrel, left side of receiver marked 'SWINBURN / PATENT', side-mounted cocking indicator and lever, sporterised with the barrel and fore-end shortened and a rubber cap fitted to the butt, worn, all script bar that above rubbed out, large graze out of right side of barrel, replacement screws in receiver, butt a probable replacement, receiver tang screw missing, 40 in. overall length
